As of yesterday, I am officially finished with the antibiotics! I can't even tell you how good it feels! That may sound totally odd, but remembering to take 9 pills a day on top of the prenatal vitamin was super annoying and they had to be taken with food or I would get sick. Now it's all a waiting game!
I had my 32 week appointment on Friday and everything went well for the most part. She asked if I had been having contractions.....which I have for about 3 weeks, but nothing real consistent and most of the time they aren't painful. Well Aubree, Dr. Shepherd's nurse practitioner was who I saw, and she said that with the infection if I am having ANY kind of contraction more that 4 times an hour I need to call or go in. I got a little anxious at the sound of that and as soon as I got home from the office I had 3 in about 20 minutes, but luckily they went away. I know that this little man is in pretty good shape being 32 weeks, but everyday means so much especially knowing that he would be in the NICU for almost 2 months still. As much as I want to savor every second being pregnant, March couldn't go fast enough!
Brynlee talks about her little brother ALL.THE.TIME! She asks to go "baby shopping" at least 50 times a day, and that is NOT an exaggeration! Yesterday we went to get groceries and she was beside herself that we didn't go shopping for him. The problem is that we really don't need anything....well diapers and a few misc. but nothing immediately. We went to Trevin and Krystal's last week and she let me go through Mason's clothes. Size wise everything was pretty right on except 3 month which worked out well because Mom and I had gone shopping the week before and everything we got was 3 month (gotta love Kohls sales and coupons)!! We took SO much home from Trev and Krystal's! It was so much more than I could have asked for! I had bought about 70 hangers for his closet thinking that would be enough and that only holds the NB through 3-6month....the 6-12month stuff is all laying in his bed and I need about 70 more hangers! Talk about JACKPOT! A lady from church has a one year old and she also brings me a bag a week to go through. This has definitely helped me to relax as much as I can...I was very overwhelmed thinking about buying ALL NEW CLOTHES!
At our last sono, we got a picture of our little man's face and he looks a lot like Bryn. I am definitely going to try to get pictures up later today. The problem is that when I am on the computer, Brynlee thinks that she gets to type and every posts takes FOREVER! :) I think that's all for now! Hopefully I can humor you with pictures later!
