Life as a family of 4

So I'm not going to lie..life is pretty crazy with 2 kids! But I love every second. We have had a visitor pretty much everyday since we've been home, except for last week...poor little Bryn had a 103-104 temp for 4 days! It was awful! I put off going to the Dr because I figured it was viral but by Wednesday night pretty much everyone was telling me I had to take her. So we went to Convenient Care and...I was right! No strep, no ear infection, just some virus that had to cycle. It was a horrible week, she was EXTREMELY fussing and ALL she wanted was to "cuddle mommy" which made feedings and pumping almost impossible. Thursday morning I had my 2 week follow up with Dr. Shepherd so Grandma came to play with Bryn. Luckily she was feeling better....she definitely enjoyed the one on one time. I got cleared from all driving and lifting restrictions...in fact he told me I didn't even have to go back for my six week follow up! That saves us one trip to Champaign. I have LOTS of appointments coming up...I meet with a surgeon tomorrow about the abscess and then I meet with another surgeon next week regarding a massive lump or lipoma in my neck that I have had for 8 years and just never wanted to go through with surgery but now IT.HAS.TO.HAPPEN...in fact, yesterday would have been a good day. I am miserable. I have horrible headaches and shooting back pain. I guess being hunched over for feedings and pumping doesn't help!

On Sunday my friend Tess took some newborn/family pictures for us. SHE DID AWESOME! We loved them! And she was moving around fabulously for being 37 weeks pregnant! Soon their little brudder will be here!

Now time to brag about our new munchkin! He is such an good baby! Luckily... or last week would have been even more dreadful! He sleeps through the night...yes I said it! In fact, last night he slept 9 and 1/2 hours! He is becoming a little more alert after his feedings. And Brynlee thinks he is pretty much the coolest thing ever! He is the first thing she asks for in the morning. She is constantly in his face giving kisses and talking to him like he understands. She asks to hold him ALL.THE.TIME. She is a great big sis and loves him so much!

Last week when we took Brynlee to the Dr she weighed 24lbs and I weighed Boston Monday and he is back up to 8lbs. Technically he is a little behind because he should have been back to his birth weight by last Wednesday but hopefully from here he will start gaining! I can't imagine a little boy as tiny as Brynlee!

Andrew has been so unbelievably busy! I don't know how he keeps everything straight. They are starting to get busy at Lanz and he is CRAZY with landscapes. Which is good because he loves it but horrible in the fact that he doesn't get much family time. I can't tell him to stop because I know he loves it but he can go days with no cuddle time with Boston and I am afraid he is going to regret that. They are only this small for so long.

Some of the pictures Tess did!
