Again I say, life is much busier with 2 children! I don't have much time for the computer and when I do, I would rather be outside, cleaning, or SLEEPING! :) I guess I will begin with the abscess. Andrew forgot about it, if that tells you anything! haha! I got great news...they don't plan on doing surgery because the position has changed and it is much more difficult to get to. It would be a very invasive surgery and since I am not having any issues they are just going to watch it. So I have a cat scan at the end of August, but nothing until then as long as I don't have any problems! YAY! More answered prayers! And I met wi a surgeon for the lipoma....I was supposed to get it out May 31st but that weekend is the 2nd Annual Tori and Alec Golf Outing and I can't miss that! Then I moved it to June 7 (our anniversary and Rochelle's due date) but now I am going to reschedule for the next week so HOPEFULLY this gigantic lump in my neck will be gone by June 14th! That will be in my Top Ten Best Days of my LIFE! I am definitely looking forward to that day! Plus Mom is going to come spend the night to help with the kids so we will get some much needed mother/daughter time!
Boston's one month well baby has already come and gone! I cannot believe how fast the last 6 weeks have gone! He weighed 9lbs 5oz and was 21.5 inches long. He is still jaundice but I am going to give him another week before I call to get another bili level drawn. Breastfed babies can can be jaundice for around 8 weeks. So everyone who thinks he has such great color...he doesn't! He's just yellow! :) He is still a fantastic baby! He loves to eat, sleep, and poop! With Brynlee I struggled with a milk supply and this time I can hardly keep it under control! Our deep freeze is half full and it's only been 6 weeks. There is probably more milk in there now than there was the whole 13 months I nursed/pumped with Brynlee. I don't know what we are going to do.
Brynlee is as ornery as ever!
A conversation she and I had a couple weeks ago....
Brynlee: thank you mommy
Me: for what
Brynlee: Bosson.....thank you for my brother Bosson
She may be ornery but she can be so sweet! She definitely loves her little brother! She also loves to wake him up! It never fails if I tell her not to wake him up...the minute I leave the room he is screaming and Brynlee yells "him not tired mommy"....ya right!
Andrew continues to be CRAZY busy! Today is the first Saturday home....no call, no landscape meetings, no home shows in 12 weeks! Wow! That is way too long! Luckily I told him we have a wedding (not until 5) weeks ago so he didn't plan anything. He does have to work on some landscape designs but at least he will be home!
Last night was the first time I left both kids! I just ran to Target and was only gone for 2 hours but it was so nice to get out and go at MY pace! I took both kids to Target a couple weeks ago and Brynlee was one of those stupid carts where the kids sit behind the cart. Well that was a BAD IDEA! The seat belt was broke and my accident prone child fell out and hit her face on the bottom of a clothes rack...putting a tooth through her lip and leaving a massive goose egg on her head. There was A LOT of blood! Complete nightmare!
Other things going on...
My baby brother graduated high school! So crazy to think I have been out 7 years! And my parents will empty nesters! This week has been very emotional for them and Tanner....heck even for me. It brings back all the emotions from when I moved out. I remember riding down to Champaign with Andrew and Tanner the day I moved out (Tanner stayed with me that night) and I bawled like a baby the whole way to Champaign. Tanner is going to join Andrew at Team Lanz but on the plumbing side.
I think that's all for now! Have a fun and safe 3 day weekend!
