So I didn't realize it had been so long since I had been on here. Last week was somewhat eventful. Since working in the yard that Saturday I have been having contractions. I had an appointment with Dr. Shepherd and he said that basically I am going to start having a lot of uterine activity as we get closer to D-Day, but he was worried that it was preterm labor. On Friday, Bryn and I went to see Mom and Dad since they just got home from Florida and on the way home that afternoon, I started to have really back right side and back pain. It eased with laying down but it was pretty excruciating. I had to work that night so I called labor and delivery before I went just in case it was something they wanted to check more into. The nurse told me to get in the bath and drink lots of water. Well I was leaving for work, so that didn't happen. I only had to work until 1am so when I got off I called back up to L & D and that nurse asked if I was having any signs of a UTI, which I wasn't. She told me I should go ahead and run up there to get monitored since I work 1 floor below them! :) They took a urine sample and the specific gravity was 10.25 which is extremely concentrated so Dr. Shepherd came in and told me I needed to be drinking lots and lots of water and that the pain was from him dropping. I didn't agree with him. Maybe if baby was positioned weird but when Bryn dropped there was a lot of pressure but not shooting pain. He went ahead and sent my urine for a culture and ends up I had a really bad bladder infection...so back on antibiotics I went! Luckily they were only for 5 days. I am SO OVER antibiotics! :) But thankfully this time it was just a bladder infection.

Tuesday night I was having pretty intense contractions, even ones I had to breathe though for 2-3 hours. Although I am grateful he did not come, I am SO ready to meet him!

On Saturday, Andrew had a lot of landscape appointments scheduled and I had to be back at work Saturday night. SO being the amazing husband that he is, he took Brynlee with him and I got to sleep ALL DAY! This is the first time I have been able to sleep without having her alone for over a year and it was AMAZING! I haven't slept that hard since before Brynlee was born! haha! I had to work last night and once again my amazing husband surprised me by taking half a day off yesterday so I could sleep a little. He truly understands me...sleep means EVERYTHING right now! And with that...I am officially off of work until I go back the middle of July after maternity leave! I am just going to try my best to soak up these last 18 days enjoying my "baby" girl!!!

I have my last sono and appointment with the high risk ob tomorrow and another appointment with Dr. Shepherd. It has been driving Mom crazy that she hasn't been to many appointments this time around so luckily she was able to get off work to come with! Only 3 appointments to go! :)
