JUNE 7--Our 3rd anniversary! It doesn't seem like that long ago that we said our vows! It will be 8 years at the end of June that we started dating and that is beyond crazy! We talk a lot about the fact that I was only 16 when we started dating and he was 20, AND of course how my parents just thought that was the perfect scenario....haha yeah right! Now we talk about Brynlee and Andrew is positive that she WILL NOT date until she's 30! Oh he makes me chuckle! To think of everything we have been through together is just amazing. To think about how our relationship has developed is breath taking. He is absolutely my soul mate, I believe with all of my heart that God made us for each other! He is the most kind, generous. and loving human being, not to mention an AMAZING father. He is the best friend I always hoped for and I am truly blessed to call him my husband!

Our daughters perfect face is now held together with glue! On Thursday she took quite the spill, leaving her bleeding....and I MEAN BLEEDING and quite a wreck! At first I didn't know when there blood was coming from, because....it was everywhere! I soon realized the blood was pulsating out of her left eye brow! I called Andrew to see if he would be home soon (I had been up for about 32 hours at that point given that I worked the night before) but he was still working. I was EXTREMELY exhausted (and quite emotional) and honestly didn't know if it was safe driving to Champaign. But after I called Mom, my adrenaline set in and off we went. Brynlee was ALL smiles at that point laughing and cheesing in the back seat (luckily we had just turned the car seat forward facing so I could see her)....I gave her the paper towel and when it started to drip I would tell her to wipe her and eye and she would! (Glad she thought this was a good time to listen!) I was so thankful Dr. Sellet thought it would be too much for her to handle stitches so he decided to glue instead. Brynlee did SO AWESOME! She laid on the chair and let them clean it just fine. The nurse was shocked and said most adults cry during that part. When he started to glue it, him and a nurse were holding her head and I was there so she could see me, after about 3 minutes of laying there her face got red and her eyes just kept moving side to side looking at the Dr, then at the nurse, then at the Dr again and so on, she got the biggest pouty lip I've ever seen, but held it in until they were done. It was heartbreaking! But as soon as I lifted her up she was fine again. No swimming for a while which has been hard for her she will go out and just sit in the empty pool!
Playing when we got home from getting it glued!

Getting ready to landscape on Saturday
I think that's all for now! :)
