Our appointment yesterday went well! I was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced. We decided not to push for the induction next week, we know Gerber Baby will come when he or she is ready! Dr. Shepherd was questioning whether or not I would make it to my appointment next Tuesday. He is still set that this baby will be here early next week! I hope he's right, but at the same time I am already worried that I will miss being pregnant. It has truly been the best experience! There are obviously ups and downs! At times I am so uncomfortable I don't know how much longer I can do it, but as soon as he or she moves again it makes it all worth it! Working in the NICU has really helped me to charish every moment! I have seen so much there in the past 9 months that I couldn't be more thankful for this miracle! We weren't planning for a baby around Christmas, but now we wouldn't have it any other way! We will have the most amazing gift!!
I think we have everything in order! Bag is packed, along with cameras, even have a snack bag! Cradle is ready, neutral clothes are washed, bottles and pacifiers are sterilized, diapers are out, car seat is in, etc. One thing that I do plan on doing before GBaby arrives is make some Xmas Cookies!!! That is my project for the next day or so!
Stats:
