Well I got my first real impression of Gerber Baby's personality this weekend! I took Caster Oil not once but twice and NOTHING...I MEAN NOTHING! Can we say stubborn?! That comes from Andrew, right?!
We had our 38 week appointment yestereday and everything is still looking great! Not much progression, dilated 2-3. Dr. Shepherd seems a little more skeptical that I will go on my own so he stripped my membranes...OUCH! And I told him that I haven't slept due to all the itching! I wake Andrew up I am scratching so hard! I haven't had any rest in a week now, I guess I am just getting prepared for what is to come! If it wasn't for all the itching I wouldn't mind staying pregnant, I love it! But because I am not resting and getting uncomfortable Dr. Shepherd decided to give me another week. So if no baby by Tuesday, I will be induced. My sister-in-law, Rochelle is a nurse on OB and she works both Tuesday and Wednesday next week, so I am very excited that she will be there! Otherwise everything is great! Plan on being home with our miracle on Christmas Eve!!
We have a family Christmas Saturday and Sunday...still haven't decided for sure if we will be there! We would love to, but this is also our LAST weekend with no baby, so we might just spend it alone, maybe have one more "date" before we're parents!
Baby's heartrate: 134 bpm (seriously?!)
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Asher Boy's heart rate was in the mid 130's the last time I was checked before I had him. (I had to go back in my posts and look) Boy?
ReplyDeleteI go back and forth every day! Thank goodness we only have 6 more days! I don't know if I can take it much longer! A boy would be great considering Madie calls ALL babies Asher! haha!
