Mom/Baby Stats
I forgot to add these!
Gerber Baby Heartrate: 138bpm
Belly Measurement: just over 38cm
Total weight gain: 32lbs
The growth scan ultrasound showed that Gerber Baby is in the 65th percentile and amniotic fluid is in the 77th percentile. This just means that our peanut is bigger than most babies at that gestation and I have more amniotic fluid than more women at that time! (which is why I am measuring so far ahead!) 2 weeks ago our Gerber Baby was weighing in at a whopping 6lbs 3oz (give or take)!

36 Weeks and counting....
Well it's been forever since I've posted pictures so hopefully I will get those up later this week. Apparently I will have time because today I got cut back to 2 days a week for the remainder of the pregnancy. This weekend I had some really bad swelling in my legs and feet. On Saturday we were at my parents house and my feet were huge and a little discolored. Dad asked if I was sure I should be working and I pushed it off because that's the way they have looked since my last appointment and Dr. Shepherd didn't seem too concerned then. Then Sunday we got up for church and both of my feet were pitting (for those who don't know, that's when you push on the swelling and it leaves an indentation). I was pretty worried so I had my feet up all day. At bedtime, nothing had changed, the color was bad and they were still pitting. I was even more concerned at that time so I explained preeclampsia to Andrew and why I was so worried. I called the Dr. on Monday and they wanted to move my appointment up to Tuesday to check my blood pressure and urine. My diastolic pressure was more of a concern but the urine looked fine. I also had almost a 7lbs weight gain since my last appointment which was also very concerning. (after going home and resting I weighed myself again and was down 5 lbs...amazing what fluid does)!Aubrey (the nurse practioner) asked if she needed to put me on bed rest and of course I told her no! So she said that I needed to cut back at work if nothing else. She wants me to check my blood pressure at work and keep a close eye on it and of course put my feet up whenever possible. She doesn't want my appointments any further than seven days apart either. They decided to order preeclampsia labs to have a baseline and I will get the results tomorrow. She went ahead and checked me since I was there and I am 1 cm dilated, not that it means anything at all but it helps after "not so great" news!

34 Week and Misc. Updates
We had a dr. appointment Thursday and everything is still going well. Andrew was able to take the day off so we were able to enjoy the rain together with a nice long nap!! I had another ultrasound to determine size and between that and the belly measurement, this baby is a big one!! Baby is measuring 2 1/2 weeks ahead of schedule! I was 34 3/7 at the appointment and was measuring 37 weeks! Please say a long prayer that this little or big one comes early in December, or just start praying that the c-section goes well! :)
Dr. Shepherd thinks Gerber Baby is a girl and will arrive on 12/14 weighing 8lbs 4oz! I can't wait to see how close he is!
I was sick Monday and Tuesday (no fever or anything severe) but it is very difficult having your head in the toilet when you're 8 months pregnant! It's bad enough that I can't sleep, have reflux, a severe case of heartburn, oh and the swelling! By the end of one night at work my ankles triple in size! I'm sure I'm doing more than I should, but I hate having people do things for me!
Gerber Baby's room is basically ready! It got painted this week and everything got put in its place! Of course we don't have bedding, but we aren't getting that until after he or she arrives! Wednesday night Andrew and I were sitting in the baby's room and Shi came in more curious than ever! She was sniffing EVERYTHING and of course fell in love with a baby toy! We were laughing so hard! I am very interested to see how she will handle a baby brother or sister!
I also realized that I will be sitting the holidays out this year! I work everynight that there is a Thanksgiving planned and no matter what I don't plan on being at any Christmas, nothing against anyone!! Hopefully we will be enjoying our little one and home, but if not I'm sure that no one will want me there! If I'm ready now, I can only imagine what 5 weeks will bring! BUT feel free to bring leftovers!! ;) We are having the Gerber immediate family Christmas the first weekend in December and then Christmas with my parents will be sometime after Gerber Baby arrives! They all decided that they will just come to our place sometime (hopefully) Christmas weekend because Dad will be off and baby better be here!
My parents will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary on Monday, so we need to make arrangements with them in the mix of all the holiday plans to do something to celebrate!!!

32 Week Appointment
I was supposed to have an ultrasound with the appointment, but Dr. Shepherd forgot to order it!! I met with his nurse practioner for my appointment and she was just as amazing he was! I am so excited to have such great doctors and nurses working with me! She was a little concerned with the swelling in my ankles, but it was 8:30am after working 3-12hours shifts in a row. She told me just to be careful and if it continued then I would have to cut down to 2 days a week. I told her it was the last 3 in a row I was scheduled for before the baby! And she ordered me compression stockings, so that should help! Anyways, she, like Dr. Shepherd also says that the baby is big. I am measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule! So she scheduled an ultrasound for my next appointment on Nov. 19th. She also said that more than likely we will have a baby in 6 weeks! :) WOW...6 weeks!
Weight Gain since last appointment: 1 lb!
Weight Gain Total: 25 lbs
Belly Measurement: 34cm (should be 32--should measure how many weeks gestation you are)
Baby's Heart Rate: 135-140bpm (She says it may be a boy in the works!)
