31 Weeks

Nothing really going on this week! We did get some things for the house....lights, rugs, etc! I was kinda having a bummer of a day and got a baby gift in the mail from one of my best friends in the whole world! I miss her so much and wish so bad that I could see her more often but that silly husband of her ran off to Alabama and took her with him! Thanks so much Bekah, I am positive Gerber Baby will LOVE the bouncer as much as I do! Shi didn't seem to be a fan though! Haha but she isn't a fan of anything in the babies room right now! She's got a lot to learn!

Madie's 2nd Bday

Mom wanted some pictures of Andrew and me while I'm pregnant. Andrew was being a goof trying to see who could get their belly to look bigger...I think I won without even trying!

30 Week Appointment and Ultrasound

The ultrasound was amazing! Mom, Dad and Andrew went...Dad surprised me! They only do 4D ultrasounds on Thursdays so Marcia wasn't able to come because she has a prior commitment! Both Mom and Dad started crying....so cute! Dad was trying to pay off Josette to tell him the gender! I told him money talks...I would find out if the price was right! ;) (We do need a college fund started for our peanut!) Gerber baby cooperated for the most part but because I am 30 weeks there aren't great pics of the hands and feet, they were constantly smashed up again the "wall"!! And his/her head is down.....getting ready to meet the world!

Everything went well at our Dr. appointment yesterday! When Dr. Shepherd sat down his first question was if we knew what we were having. Obviously we said no and he said, "I'm going to tell you right now it's a girl and will be born of Christmas Eve." I told him I didn't want to be in the hospital over Christmas and he said he would make sure I was out that day, haha! He is such a great guy! My mom loved him! Then when he was pushing around on my tummy he said, "were you a big baby?" I said yes, and he said, "uh, ya so is this one!" So at my appointment in 2 weeks they are going to do another ultrasound so that he can make a better guess at what our peanut could weigh! Then we will talk about a possible induction after that.
Crazy that we are starting to talk about delivery!!

Weight Gain since last appointment: 3lbs.

Total weight gain: 24lbs. (my goodness!!)

Heart Rate: 140's

29 Week Update

Well last night we had a bit of a scare. I had terrible cramps and hadn't felt Lil Gerbs kick in a few hours. I called labor and delivery to be on the safe side and they said that it could be my gallbladder since it is getting all cramped in there. She told me that if I didn't didn't feel the baby move in the next hour that I should go to the ED. I was of course a mess and I could tell Andrew was nervous, but he was definitely being the strong one. We went downstairs and tried waking the lil stinker up for pry a half hour and finally I started to feel movement. I could see relief on Andrew's face when he saw it. We ate dinner and the cramps finally went away a couple hours later. Eventhough I see numerous babies born at 29 weeks, I am not ready to have this one!

On a better note, I got my glucose tolerance test results back and everything was normal!

I go to see Dr. Shepherd for the first time next Wednesday, then Thursday we have the 3D ultrasound! Should make for an exciting 30 weeks!

Travel System

We decided to get a Chicco travel system, and not knowing the sex, we figured you can't go wrong with green and gray! I went and played with it a lot at Babyland and love it! But found a website where it was cheaper so I went ahead and ordered it!

28 Weeks...On to the 3rd trimester!

Everything is still going well, I have had some abdominal pressure, but the dr. says its probably just from carrying low since I have no other signs or symptoms that coincide! Now I start going to the dr. every 2 weeks, which means my next appointment is with my delivery dr!
Weight gain this month: 8 lbs
Total weight gain: 21 lbs
Baby's Heartrate: 155 bpm (consistant with a girl?!?!)
Belly Measurement: 28 cm

I have tried to schedule a 3D ultrasound, but apparently you have to call, leave you name and they call you back to schedule, well that doesn't work when you sleep during the day...so we have been playing phone tag! Hopefully that gets scheduled soon, we are so excited to get one!

It has gotten more difficult to work nights, my sleep schedule has been terrible, I feel exhausted all the time. I have been waking up between 2 and 4 every night and get bored laying here so we have lots of treats sitting around! I am up to make Andrew breakfast so I know he is loving that! But then I have to take naps! Hopefully I will figure something out soon!

I plan to go pick paint out for the baby's room within the next couple of weeks. Mom and Krystal offered to paint a day...then I can spend the day with Madie!

The baby's aunts (Krystal, Jessica, Jeni and Rochelle) and some of my cousins (Karissa, Kenzie, and Kara) are planning a baby shower for November 7th. I am still working on a few addresses, but will hopefully get those to Krystal this weekend! Thanks so much for everything you are doing! We really can't thank you enough!

We are still trying to get the house together! It seems like we are spending to money on the things we need, but nothing seems finished! Hopefully get new window treatments up this month to make it even more at home before the holidays (that will help a ton)! We won't paint until the spring or summer so pictures, etc. will have to wait! We realized there are a few "big" things we need before the baby comes so we need to concentrate on those first!
