I had my monthly prenatal appt last Friday along with Brynlee's 2 year well baby.
Miss Bryn's Stats:
Weight: 23 lbs (9th percentile)
Height: 33 inches (10th percentile)
Let me just add that this short little girl has somehow figured out how to get up on the kitchen counters. She is a MONKEY! Within 3 days, she had 3 new injuries on her face....from jumping on furniture she had just gotten in trouble for jumping on......ya....she listens. I would love to hear that it gets better, but I know it will get worse before that ever happens! I'm just praying for no broken bones! Right before we left the house for her appointment she looked at me and said, "Mommy, I crazy!" She nailed it!
Now Mommy and Baby B at 23 weeks
Thank goodness there were no new surprises at this appointment! Well they did change the medication I was on for the abscess, even though I still had 8 days left of the last 14 day prescription they gave me....I guess I will $70 worth of medication to flush. Grrr! Not to mention that the new script was more than double the cost of the last! AND this pill is probably 5 times the size of a Tylenol....the whole reason we got into this mess in the first place. If you can't tell, I am super annoyed about this! But as far as Baby and I go, we are great! I feel wonderful minus the fact that my belly popped once again and I already feel stretched to the max. But I totally love it! I absolutely LOVE being pregnant. I know some people find that to be totally disgusting, but every time he moves I am reminded at what a miracle I have growing inside of me. I have no idea how he is going to change my life but I am beyond excited! Andrew felt him move for the first time around Christmas. He seems to be further to my back or facing a weird way because my kidneys are taking a beating. She actually got the tape measure out this time and he is measuring right on track. I even scheduled my glucose testing for later this month...it seems crazy! I have another ultrasound on Friday to make sure everything still looks good since I was sedated for the procedure and have been on multiple medications. Mom gets to go with so I am very excited. She went to a lot of my appointments for Brynlee when Andrew couldn't be there so it will be nice to have her there!
I had planned that if it was a boy I was going to make the baby bedding because I realized how dumb it is to spend $300 on bedding they use for 2 years and NEVER use the comforter! (And the one boy bedding that I LOVED is no longer available!) I finally bought some material the other day, it is nothing like I thought I was going to get, but...it was tough, it seemed like everything that looked somewhat boyish would have a random pink stripe in it. I am not sure how it will turn out so I'm not sure you will ever to get to see it but I will make that my goal! I will put a picture of the fabric soon...the colors are ice blue, celery green, khaki, white, and dark brown. Wish me luck!
Haha I think Brynlee had the "girl bedding" to Asher's "boy bedding." While I LOVED it I now think it was totally stupid to spend the money on it. Glad I can use it again! If this was a girl Grandma Jane was just going to make my bedding too. Can't wait to see your fabric - sounds like the colors I had for the boys :)
