Telling Daddy-to-be!

On April 25th we found out the most exciting news possible! We are going to be parents! I was supposed to get my wisdom teeth out on April 28th, so I took a pregnancy test on the Saturday before just to make sure, and to my amazement, it was positive! I honestly didn't believe it, and didn't want to get my hopes up and have them crushed, so I went to see Tanner and Maggie at Cheddar's all dressed up in their Prom attire, but on my way I stopped at Target to grab a digital test. Oh course I wanted to stand on my car and scream the news, but figured I better keep it under control until I knew for sure. I went to Bergners to look around, trying to figure out a way to tell Andrew he was going to be a Dad, but Rochelle was working so I didn't want to buy anything...everyone knows I can't lie! So instead, on my way home I ran into Kolhs and got a sleeper that says "My Daddy Loves Me" and my favorite car seat clip that giggles. I had already made a blanket that says "I Love Mommy, I Love Daddy" all over it. I ran home and made a little setup on the table. Andrew walked in just minutes later. The first thing he asked when he walked in the door was, "Why are you all smiles?" Trying not to spill the beans, I said nothing. He went on talking about his day and it seemed like forever before he went over to the table. But eventually he did and said, "What's all this crap?" I had a feeling that's what he would say because I had been shopping like crazy for baby gifts for friends. Knowing that, I put a sign next to the goodies saying "You are going to be the best dad in the whole world." The next thing to come out of his mouth was "Are you serious, are you serious," probably 10 times. He came back over to be, now he was all smiles, and told me I just gave him the best gift in the whole world! Can't wait to see him with his little one!
OMG, That made me cry!!!!
